Privacy Policy

Last updated August 1, 2026

This page is maintained by Ruler of the Hill to explain what data the platform stores when you create an account, run a competition, or take part in one.

Data we collect

Account details you provide (name, email, and optional phone number), competition activity (leagues joined, picks, results, standings), organizer configuration, and consent records. Consent records include the document accepted, its version, a timestamp, your IP address, and your browser user agent.

How we use it

To operate your account, run competitions you join, lock and score picks, produce standings and recaps, send the notifications you enable, and maintain an audit trail that organizers can rely on for dispute resolution and compliance.

Notifications

Email and SMS alerts for pick reminders, lock times, results, eliminations, and champion announcements are controlled per event type in your profile settings. Message and data rates may apply to SMS. You can disable any category at any time.

Sharing

Your display name, picks after lock, and standing are visible to members of the competitions you join, and on a public recap page when the organizer enables one. Organizers see membership and payment status for their own competitions. We use service providers for hosting, email, SMS delivery, and sports data; we do not sell personal data.

Retention and your choices

Account and competition data is retained while your account is active. Consent and audit records are retained as immutable compliance history. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data; deletion requests that conflict with an active competition are honored after it concludes.

Security and contact

Access is protected by authenticated accounts and row-level database policies so members only see data for their own competitions. For privacy requests or security reports, contact the organizer for competition-specific matters, or reach us through the details on the Compliance page. See also our Terms of Service.
